Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first employment was working in the Real Estate Industry. She was introduced to Tarek Al Moussa while working in the real estate industry. Following the 2008 collapse of the stock exchange, the real estate market was hit hard by investors and house flippers lost their money. Tarek El Moussa, Christina El Moussa, and Tarek El Moussa, lost the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 market collapse. From a $6,000-per-month home, up to a condo that cost $700 per month. Slowly, their business and overall economic performance improved. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek requested a colleague to help him make an HGTV audition tape, which featured him and Christina turning a house beginning to end. Pie Town Productions executive received this tape. They were enthralled by Tarek's and Christina's love story. In 2012, the couple signed an agreement with HGTV. Then, in April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" began its debut. In seven seasons, the show ran from 2013 until 2017. The series featured Christina and Tarek buying properties in Orange County. They would spend weeks upgrading the houses so that they could sell their properties at a profit. Tarek's focus is on demolition and renovating, while Christina prefers design.
